The MSTAM is designed to resist tension loads in wood-to-masonry uplift applications. This medium strap tie is for use with either concrete or grout-filled concrete masonry units (GFCMU). The MSTAM utilizes a staggered nail pattern to help minimize wood splitting.

• Straps are load rated with the correct thickness and number of fasteners, in contrast with field-fabricated straps

• Loads have been increased for wind and seismic forces

• Floor-to-floor clear span application

• Width: 1-1/4-in

• Made from 18-gauge steel

• Galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance

• Install with 10d common nails and (a) 1-1/4-in x 2-in Titen 2 screws for GFCMU or (b) 1-1/4-in x 1-3/4-in Titen 2 screws for Concrete
