Patients with any of the following conditions should not use the Cold Therapy System: • History of cold injury, frostbite, or adverse reactions to local cold application. • Unconsciousness or lack of lucidity due to general anesthesia, sedation, or coma. • Compromised local circulation or potential wound healing problems in the application area, including issues resulting from multiple surgical procedures. • Circulatory problems, including Raynaud’s disease, Berger's disease, peripheral vascular disease, vasospastic disorders, sickle cell anemia, and hypercoagulable clotting disorders. • Local tissue infection. • Diabetic polyneuropathy.
Indications
The Cold Therapy System is intended for application of external cold therapy for temporary reduction of pain, swelling, and/or inflammation resulting from injury or surgery

Directions
1. Fill the 9-quart cooling reservoir with ice and water. 2. Attach the 7.2’ insulated tube to the cold therapy pad and the cold therapy unit. 3. Place the cold therapy pad on the affected area (knee). 4. Adjust the settings on the digital panel for temperature and automatic shutoff. 5. Monitor the therapeutic temperature and make adjustments as needed. 6. After use, clean and store the components properly.
